Floribbean Fare with a Flair.

 

Taco Green-Go is a local, Chef owned and operated,

eco-friendly, street food concept. We offer a

seasonally rotating selection of fusion style

tacos, ceviche and other goodies.

 

We are a husband and wife run business operating

out of Charlotte, NC. We are long time festival

hippies who left the corporate world to follow our

dreams of bringing fresh and healthy food to our

friends on the road.

 

All of our food is fresh and hand made with love.

No freezers, cans, or microwaves. The style of food

is called Floribbean, a type of Southern US/Island

and Latin Fusion. The menu is interesting and exotic

with a comfortable and approachable feel. We don't

have a kids menu but our food is fairly kid friendly,

nothing too crazy or spicy. We do offer vegan,

vegetarian, and gluten free options as well.

 

We call ourselves, The Eco-Friendly Food Truck. The truck was built by local craftsmen and hand painted by local artists. Positive energy and community support are the cornerstones of our philosophy. Therefore, local sourcing of ingredients, recycled paper products, plant based plastics, natural gas, LED lighting, commercial grade insulation, bio-degradable detergents, and composting are just a few ways we provide healthy, sustainable, cost conscious food choices that support the eclectic and unique economic driving force of our community.

 

Some previous events we have vended at are; The DrumStrong Rhythm and Arts Festival, Inter-dependance Fire Performance Festival, Triple C Summer Folk Jam, 106.5 end of Summer Weenie Roast, Midwood Maynia and Fall Crawl Festivals, the Union County Earth Day Festival, and the Vans Warped Tour.

 

We are very proud to be featured in the 2015 City Of Charlotte Official Visitors Guide as one of the city’s premiere street food destinations. WCCB TV’s Wilson’s World and CLTure Productions, Counter Culture Internet Magazine, have also given us a little time in the spotlight.
